2015 Mid-America Exhibit - Review

The 38th Annual Mid-America Bonsai Exhibit was held at the Chicago Botanic Garden August 14-16 2015.

This year's show had over 80 trees registered from across the region, and drew wide attendance to not only the quality of the trees, but also the 14 workshops and 20 vendors selling Bonsai-related materials.

Attendance at the Chicago Botanic Garden was high because 'Spike' the Titan Arum (Corpse Flower) was drawing large crowds as it continued to grow and mature.

Ribbons were awarded to trees across three classes, Novice, Open and Professional.  All classes were well represented and included varied materials across distinct types and styles.

A selection of award-winning trees follows in the gallery.
