Saturday, May 17th, 10:00am James Fairchild: Basics of BonsaiJames Fairchild will discuss the basics of bonsai, with examples of various styles and he will repot a tree to show the process of beginning a bonsai.

Sunday, May 18th, 10:00am Ivan Watters: The Permanent CollectionIvan Watters, curator of the permanent collection at the Chicago Botanic Garden, will discuss the selection of trees, their development, and their exhibiting of the trees in the courtyards.
